Hello everyone,

The long awaited crate showed up last Thursday and I was so busy I couldn`t open it until the beginning of this week. Keith could not believe I hadn`t ripped the top off at least. How can they get a Kudu, Nyala, Blue Wildebeest, and 2 Warthogs in a crate that small, and manage to arrive with no damage. My hats off to the packers and shippers.

I`m very proud that all were harvested with archery equipment, and with one arrow each. It`s important to get a quick, humane kill and the local people were able to get the much needed protein. During the course of out ten day Safari, we enjoyed a delicious meal of most of the Plains Game varieties as well.

All of us had a great trip, Zak and Louise, Jacques and Jani of SAHU SAFARIS went to great lengths to handle every facet of the trip flawlessly. A return trip is being planned. Next time, I will stay for a month at least.

For those of you who have visited Africa, you know how beautiful it is, and for those who haven`t...you really should go.
